Nobody explained it properly yet. That’s what I’m here for.
Let me start with something I noticed — not about myself, but about everyone around me.
I work in digital marketing. I have been running Digital Factory here in Pondicherry for 18 years. AI tools are part of how I work every day. I test them. I evaluate them. I understand quickly what they can and cannot do — because my clients depend on that clarity.
So when AI really started taking off, I was not confused. But the world around me was experiencing it very differently.
What I kept seeing
Most people around me thought AI meant one thing — image filters, photo effects, video generation. The kind of thing you see on Instagram reels. Something on your phone that makes your selfie look better or turns a photo into a painting.
They could not tell the difference between a video shot through a camera and one generated through a text instruction. And the ones who were trying to use AI tools were getting disappointing results — not because the tools were bad, but because nobody had explained what AI actually does before asking them to use it.
And then there were the people who came to me directly — colleagues, friends, business owners, young professionals — asking the same questions almost every week.
"Which AI tool should I learn first? Which certification is worth doing? Where do I even begin?"
They were not afraid of AI. They were curious. They wanted to adapt. But they had no direction and no starting point.
What I looked for — and did not find
I went looking for something that explained AI clearly. From the beginning. Without assuming you already understood the basics.
What I found instead — on Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn — was the latest tools, the newest platforms, technical discussions that started in the middle and expected you to keep up.
Nobody was starting at the beginning. So I decided to do it myself.
